Everyone knows that building a steady stream of traffic is the key to success for any website or online business. Whether it’s from using PPC at Google Adwords, Yahoo Marketing, MSN Adcenter or Abrite, increasing organic search result ranks using SEO, buying banner advertisements, buying text links, submitting to directories, writing articles, or purchasing targeted traffic, you need it to get your website known. You can’t have sales, ad revenue, or member signups if no one knows you exist in the first place. Our goal is to give you a jump start by sending targeted traffic your way so that you can extend your marketing reach and have a fighting chance against your competitors.

Being a website owner myself, I purchased traffic from four other companies long before I made this website. At first, I had no idea what to look for when buying traffic, I was new to internet marketing and ended up making a few critical mistakes. The first company that I bought traffic from seemed to be well listed in search engines and had low prices. I browsed their website, decided I liked the idea of the program, and paid $149 for 100,000 hits. I quickly learned that in the online world, cheaper is not better. Soon after I started getting the hits I noticed that they seemed to be odd and non-human like. They would come from the same areas and spend no time on the site. Now it’s a fact that some people will just close your site, but my website’s statistics showed unusually large amounts of this. I canceled my order and had quite a bit of trouble getting my money back. The other three companies that I bought website traffic from were similar.

WordPress has some advantages over static sites which make WordPress SEO easier:

* Many settings apply site-wide and it is very easy to create and update pages/posts.

* You can use plugins to add virtually any functionality you can think of without any technical knowledge.

However, to maximise your WordPress SEO there are still mistakes to avoid:

Assuming WordPress is Search Engine Optimised “out of the box” – There are a number of aspects of a standard WordPress Installation that can be improved from a SEO point of view and these are best addressed at the outset.

Displaying unfriendly URLs – By default WordPress will give your pages and posts a number and display this in the URL. For WordPress SEO purposes you want to have your keyword in the URL, so you need to change the Permalinks to “/%postname%”. This will put all the words in the post/page title in the URL but you may need to edit this if the title is long. You can also get a plugin to remove common words.

One of the most cost-effective methods of getting leads on the Internet is pay-per-click ads on search engines; they can provide instant traffic, and allow you to test the effectiveness of your business in real time.

However, pay-per-click advertising (PPC) is not as simple to use as some of the search engines would promote. You should be prepared to undertake some substantial research on keywords, headlines, content, and establishing a budget for your campaign. You should also be prepared to test a number of ads so that you can track your results otherwise you could just be losing a lot of money very quickly with no real result.

If you are prepared and do some research pay per click can be a very effective mode of advertising.

In December of the year 1999, Google started search engine advertising.  However, it wasn’t until October of the year 2000 that the AdWords system was initiated.  Adwords allows advertisers to create text advertisements on the Google search engine.  Lastly, in 2002 PPC (pay per click) was introduced.  Prior to 2002, advertisements were charged at cost-per-thousand impressions.  Google has changed the face of the online advertising world.

To succeed in marketing a business today you need to do the following:

  • Know where to find your customers.
  • Build a relationship with them.
  • Communicate your product or service with your customer in a way that makes them want to do business with you.

Pay Per Click advertising or PPC is one of the fastest most profitable ways to increase traffic to your website.  Pay Per Click is very simply explained; you pay when a customer clicks on your advertisement online and enters your website.
